I had a lovely time showing the film at Flat Screens, hosted by the wonderful Andrea Zimmerman. It was lovely to see Gillian McIver, Gareth Evans and all the people who made me feel very welcome. Please have a look at Andrea’s website for news on her work and also Gillian’s site for news about Studio 75

Come down to the lovely Tina We Salute You Cafe in Dalston this month, drink your coffee in Vodka Empire inspired decor and come along to one of our evening cocktail events (to be announced shortly). It’s a great place and thanks to Steve and Danny for inviting us and Gina for organising it all. Big thanks to Valli at Landprop / Strand East for giving and loaning some of the crucial materials for our installation setup that Maito and Hilary will be hard at work on tonight.
We’re very happy to be screening the film tomorrow night with our friends at Studio 75 and host and organisers of flat screens – a monthly programme of film screening curated by Andrea Luka Zimmerman.
After so many screenings comes a lot of press with a lot of positive reviews and added dab of negative. Take a look at some of them here. ( scans and recordings coming soon)

Thanks too to Picturehouses who also screened it in Greenwich, the ica and to Cineworld who screening the film in Bristol, Cardiff, Wolverhampton, Ilford and Wood Green. Thank you very much too to Susan , Michael and all at the QFT Queens Film Theatre in Belfast for their fantastic hospitality and a great reception for the film back in Dan’s childhood home and the place where both his father and Grandmother Maroussia who sparked this film and vodka adventure are buried. It was a chance to visit her newly installed headstone and follow up on correcting spelling mistakes!
We’re a bit late updating our pages after a whirlwind of screenings so this is a rather belated but massive THANK YOU to Robin and all at the Prince Charles Cinema for what was a fantastic UK Cinema premiere of ‘How To Re-Establish A Vodka Empire’. Thanks too to Alex Rowley and Matt and all at Dartmouth films for working hard to draw the crowd, also a big thank you to Vinca and all at Future Youth and to the UK Jewish Film Festival. What a great night!
A big thank you to Dilwyn and all at Theatre Mwldan, Cardigan for a fantastic Welsh premiere of ‘How To Re-Establish A Vodka Empire.’ Also a big thanks to Hilary’s Dad Mum and sister and Dan’s Aunt and Uncle for proving personal connections and word of mouth is always the most effective way of drawing a crowd.
